About AZ VB Masters
We are bringing masters volleyball back to Arizona. Dedicated to veteran athletes and community building, we unite players across generations for competitive, active, and fun volleyball.
Revitalizing Arizona masters volleyball
Arizona used to have such a vibrant masters volleyball scene, and we believe it is time to bring that passion back. AZ VB Masters was created to organize premier tournaments designed specifically for senior players while also connecting with the 40-45 age group to help introduce new players as they age up. Our mission is to keep adult players active, foster friendly, tough, competition, and rebuild a thriving statewide community of lifelong athletes.
Meet our organizing committee
Our organizing committee currently consists of dedicated volleyball advocates Sandi Marquez, Charlie Eckman, Tiffany Hunter Rusaw, and Margo Darris. We are passionate about the sport and actively working to connect players across Tucson, Phoenix, and beyond. We are actively seeking committee members from the rest of the state to help expand opportunities for senior volleyball players everywhere.
Get involved and share your local play
Let's all get involved and do what we can to keep Arizona masters volleyball growing. If you host open gyms or senior play sessions in your area, let us know and we will gladly feature them on our calendar. Whether you want to join our organizing committee, register a team, or grab official gear, we are here to support every senior player stepping onto the court.
"It's time to bring masters volleyball back to Arizona. The goal is to get more of us out there playing, connecting, and staying active together."
